If you don't have "Dead Winter Dead" I would suggest you buy a
a copy real soon. It is some of the best music I have heard in a long
time. All of the songs are truly inspired, and the guitar work is truly
phenominal.
This is the song (Texts of songs ) (and part of the larger story) where the Old
Chellist is playing Christmas music during the shelling of Sarajevo
on Christmas Eve. When the songs end, so does the music as he was
killed. (This _is_ a true story, I remember seeing it on the News
when it happened.)
This song (Texts of songs ) has some of the best arranging I have seen in a long
time. It starts off "Rest ye Merry Gentlemen", and goes into "Carol
of the Bells". I've done my best to include piano, guitar, flute, and
bell parts.
